I beg you - do not sleep on this place. Hidden in a tucked-away alley, it is still in the center of Coventry, and is better than most of the mainstream restaurants by it. Do not be overwhelmed by the large menu - everything we tried was incredible, and the man making the food was kind and gave us recommendations on what to order. We were sat and got our food within 10 minutes, and were genuinely amazed by how good it was (especially since everything is under £10!!). I highly recommend the beef brisket in particular - so juicy and tender! 10/10, and will never understand how quiet it is - deserves a lot more recognition!!

I make an effort to drive into Coventry every time to have their braised beef and rice dish. It tastes exactly like a grandparents home cooking filled with passion and love, super tender and the owner/workers are always so friendly. This is a hidden gem that we must preserve, thank you for the delicious food. If I'm going on the M6 I always have to make a stop into Coventry just to get a takeaway. 10/10
